Meet The Neighbours - Our First Tiny Free Plant Shop

Back in May of 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic we wanted to find a way to not only spread a bit of joy and positivity but also meet some of the friendly folks in our neighbourhood. In true pursuit of all things plants we decided to start a project called The Tiny Free Plant Shop.

At Plant Pursuit, we truly believe that plants should be accessible. Accessible to everyone, and not overpriced. Over the last few years there has been an arbitrage in the market of plants. Specifically tropical plants and what many people would call indoor plants, or house plants. Living in a larger city we see this all the time. The Tiny Free Plant Shop was an earnest effort to give plants to everyone at the affordable cost of FREE. The Tiny Free Plant Shop would turn out to be a fun weekend and gave us an amazing opportunity to chat with those in our neighbourhood and even meet some new friends. 

We are grateful for everyone who came by and checked out the project. This weekend became a really nice jump off point for us at Plant Pursuit. At the time we did not know that this concept would actually become an annual event thanks to a corporate partner of ours. We love our community!
